Facial fat grafting

Facial fat grafting - also known as lipofilling - restores lost volume using your own fat. The treatment can soften contours and create a more harmonious facial expression without synthetic fillers.

Who is it for?

Fat grafting may be suitable if you have lost fullness in the cheeks, temples or other areas after ageing or weight loss, and prefer a natural result based on your own tissue.

How it works

Fat is typically harvested from the abdomen or thighs, purified and prepared, then carefully injected into the chosen areas. The scope is planned individually - from smaller volumes to a full-face approach. Nano fat grafting can be added as an option.

After treatment

Swelling and bruising may occur at both the donor site and the face. Many return to daily routines within a few days. Some of the fat may be absorbed, so one or two smaller top-up injections can be relevant in the following months. The lasting result can remain for many years.

Risks

As with other procedures, swelling, bruising or - rarely - infection may occur. Because your own fat is used, the risk of allergic reaction is minimal.
